Product Description
The CK6180 Flat Bed CNC Lathe is engineered for heavy and oversized part turning. With an impressive 800mm swing over bed and machining lengths of up to 3000mm, it is ideal for demanding industries such as energy, oil & gas, and heavy machinery. Its robust spindle system features a 104mm bore and C11 nose, providing stability and support for large-diameter workpieces.
Driven by an 11kW variable frequency motor and equipped with a 3-speed mechanical gearbox, the machine delivers continuous spindle speed control from 25 to 850 RPM. This enables smooth transitions between rough and precision machining operations.
The X and Z axes feature travel lengths of 420mm and up to 2850mm, supported by high-precision ball screws and rapid traverse speeds of 4000 mm/min (X) and 5000 mm/min (Z). Combined with a machining accuracy of IT6–IT7 and a surface finish of Ra1.6, the CK6180 ensures high-quality output.
The lathe is equipped with a 4-position electric tool turret as standard, with an option for a 6-position turret, supporting 32×32mm tool shanks. The 100mm diameter tailstock quill, fitted with an MT6 taper and 250mm stroke, enhances support for long and heavy workpieces.
Control system flexibility is a key feature, supporting GSK980TDC as standard, and optional systems from KND, FANUC, or Siemens to meet varied automation and integration requirements. Every machine undergoes over 48 hours of continuous testing, including laser and circular accuracy checks, with full component traceability and support.
