The GMC2021/3021/4021 Gantry Machining Center is engineered to deliver high precision and heavy-duty machining performance for large workpieces. Featuring a wide 2150 mm gantry width and an extended Y-axis travel of 2100 mm, it is ideal for complex and large-scale manufacturing applications.
With flexible X-axis travel options of 2000 mm, 3000 mm, or 4000 mm, paired with an 800 mm Z-axis travel, this machining center accommodates diverse part sizes. The machine is powered by a BT50 spindle driven by a belt system, running at 6000 rpm with motor options of 15 kW or 18.5 kW, producing 143 Nm of torque for demanding cutting tasks.
The CNC system standard is FANUC 0i MF, with options for Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Taiwan Syntec, catering to various user preferences. Its dual chip conveyor design efficiently removes chips, maintaining clean working conditions and reducing downtime.
The tooling system includes a 24-tool disc magazine as standard, with an optional 40-tool chain magazine, enabling a wide range of tool changes. The quick 2.5-second tool change time supports high productivity in production environments.
Precision linear rails (RGW/H55) ensure tight machining tolerances with positioning accuracy of 0.02 mm and repeatability as fine as 0.01 mm on the Z-axis. The machine achieves rapid movements of 12 m/min on X and Y axes and 10 m/min on the Z axis, enhancing operational efficiency.
Worktable dimensions vary from 2000×1800 mm to 4000×1800 mm, with maximum load capacities from 5 to 7 tons, supporting heavy and large workpieces. The machine weighs approximately 24 to 32 tons, reflecting its sturdy construction.
Every unit undergoes rigorous quality testing including over 48 hours of continuous operation, laser interferometry, and circularity testing. Detailed production records ensure consistent quality and enable fast after-sales service and spare parts supply.
